Introduction to the Woods

Today, we introduced Andrew to the Boulder Fields and all of its glory. It was a beautiful day so we put Andrew into his Kelty Kids backback and took him on his first hike in the woods. Grandpa (Murphy) also came along with us as did the dog, which is a given. We saw some creeks with minnows swimming in them, huge boulders, waterfalls, and some other groups of hikers with their dogs as well. Andrew didn't make a peep the whole trip in, but giggled most of the way out. I really think he enjoyed his first outing in the woods. I know that makes his daddy happy!
